WITNESS is a company founded in 1992 that focuses on human rights by way of video taping incidents. Inspired by current events like the filming of police brutality against Rodney King, the company was founded by musician Peter Gabriel, the Reebok Foundation, and the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights with the simple goal of supporting people who need support by recording inappropriate behavior. They are still active today, using new technology and distributing it to secure justice in the name of human rights. This original WITNESS shirt, deadstock with original tags attached and some light discoloration from prolonged storage, is a vintage Reebok-brand shirt for a noble cause.
